You are screwed

Not sure if this is the right way of communicating how the government tries to fix the world's problems, but it is a kind of communication, anyway.


  1. I wonder if the laughter in the background comes from real people?
    If so, the fact that they are laughing at this cartoon is interesting...

  2. I wouldn't call the fact that ordinary people are starting to become aware of the problems, to the point of creating this cartoon, for example, as hopeful. The ordinary response might be, wow, if mainstream media is blasting stuff like this, then maybe there is hope! But I suspect we are just witnessing the fact that things have gotten so bad with the world that people are recognizing it. Unfortunately, that also means it is probably too late to really do anything because of the lag times involved. The momentum is now massive and unstoppable. Coulda, woulda, shoulda thought of that before we got here.
